Government and Regime
Saint Lucia is an independent parliamentary democratic constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state, represented by a Governor General, who acts on the advice of the prime minister and the cabinet. The actual power in St. Lucia lies with the prime minister and the cabinet.
Landscaping
The twin island is of volcanic origin, with large central peaks covered in tropical rainforest. The majority of the population on both islands lives closer to the sea where the terrain flattens out. There are numerous rivers descending from the mountains of both islands, which provide fresh water to the local population.

Procedure
The citizenship by investment requires the applicants to acquire documents as follows:
  • Procedure 1
    Open Borders will pre-screen your passport copy for government pre-approval to ensure processing. A down payment of professional fees will be required to open your application.
  • Procedure 2
    Open Borders will assist and advise you with the collection of the documents required in the checklist.
  • Procedure 3
    Once you submit your application you need to pay due diligence fees.
  • Procedure 4
    Due diligence report is issued to the government who will make a decision. Once the application is accepted, the investor should pay the investment requirements.
  • Procedure 5
    A certificate of naturalization is issued in the name of the investor. The passport is issued in a week later.
