Antigua and Barbuda, lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and consists of two major islands, Antigua and Barbuda, and a number of smaller islands (including Great Bird, Green, Guiana, Long, Maiden and York Islands and further south, the island of Redonda). It is a sovereign state in the Americas and the capital and largest port and city is St. John's, on Antigua.

Government and Regime
Antigua and Barbuda is a unitary parliamentary representative democratic monarchy, wherein the Sovereign of Antigua and Barbuda is the head of state. Executive power is exercised by the government.
Landscaping
Antigua and Barbuda is famous for its beaches, and the many coral reefs in the vicinity. The islands are rimmed by reefs and shoals. The most noteworthy feature of Barbuda’s coastline is the natural lagoon on the western side of the island. The highest point on Antigua is Mount Obama which is mountain is located amid a bulge of hills of volcanic origin in the southwestern part of the island.
Investment
There are two options of investment for the Antigua and Barbuda citizenship:
1) A cash donation to the National Development Fund

Procedure
The citizenship by investment requires the applicants to acquire documents as follows:
  • Procedure 1
    OPEN BORDERS will pre-screen your passport copy for government pre-approval. A down payment of professional fees is due when Signing the contract.
  • Procedure 2
    A case officer will be assigned to you to assist and advise you with the collection of the documents required in the checklist.
  • Procedure 3
    Submit your application, pay due diligence fees, 10% government fees. If you are chosing property option, 10% deposit to reserve your chosen property.
  • Procedure 4
    Once Approved by the government, You are invited to pay the donation or if taking the property option, pay the balance of your purchase, as well as the 90% of the government fees.
  • Procedure 5
    The passport and certificate of Nationalization are issued to you via courier once the balance of professional fees is settled.

There are two options for qualifying contribution for the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program.

1) NDF
A minimum cash donation of $100,000 to the National Development Fund (NDF). This onetime payment is sent directly to an escrow account, which is managed by the Citizenship by Investment Unit of the Government.

Donation (Up to 4 family members), USD 100,000
Donation (Family of 5+ members), USD 125,000

In addition to the donation there are government fees to be paid:

Processing fees (Up to 4 family members), USD 25,000
Processing fees for each additional dependent, USD 15,000

B) Real Estate
A property purchase to the value of $400,000 in a Government Approved Real Estate project. Freehold property with title deed; hotel shares; fractional ownership or land may be purchased.
A minimum investment of $400,000 in real estate will qualify you and your family under the real estate option. The property may then be sold after the mandatory period of 5 years.

A Limited Time Offer is available under certain conditions; an investment of $200,000 can also qualify you and your family under the real estate option. For more information, contact our team.

In addition to the Real Estate Investment there are government fees to be paid:

Processing fees (Up to 4 family members), USD 50,000
Processing fees for each additional dependent, USD 15,000

There are compulsory background checks payable to the Government preferred due diligence agency that will use Interpol, World-Check and other Government agencies to screen applicants based on their application.
